The Azumi AZZ2RE includes an ALTUS Z-Cut sterling silver (925) headjoint for easy articulation and precise tone focus. The French pointed key arms provide increased stability to the mechanism. Open holes allow for various additional techniques and effects such as glissando, multiphonics, and microtones. The body of the flute is made of silver-plated nickel silver and is pitched at 442 Hz. The flute features an offset G.
