The Aegis Secure Key 3.0 is, according to Apricorn, the most robust encrypted device with IP68 certification against dust and permanent immersion in water. The Secure Key 3 also boasts the largest storage capacity of any device in its class. It is software-free, 100% hardware-based with 256-bit AES XTS encryption, features an integrated keyboard with PIN authentication, and offers ultra-fast USB 3.1 (3.0) data transfer speeds. All data is encrypted during operation, and the PINs and data of the secure USB flash drive remain encrypted while the drive is in a dormant state. Fully cross-platform and operating system independent, it works with Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Chrome, embedded systems, and devices with an active USB port and a storage file system. All internal components are protected by a layer of hardened epoxy resin against physical tampering, and the firmware is locked, making it immune to malware attacks such as BadUSB.
