Plug that works with Apple Homekit.

Good day, I am looking for a plug with which I can switch the power of a socket on and off and control this with Homekit. I also need a SmartSwitch to control this. Does anyone have a suggestion? I can't find anything. mfg Marvin

    ZigBee socket?

Is there a Swiss (type J plug) alternative to the OSRAM Smart+ Plug (type C plug) that is also compatible with the ZigBee protocol and can therefore also be controlled via Philips Hue switches and apps?

Classic system control with philips Hue bridge

Hello, I'm looking for a way to add Philips Hue connectivity to my switches (Legrand push buttons) and lamps that are not connected. Are there any Zigbee plug-in modules that can make conventional push buttons "intelligent" (without disabling them), and add Philips Hue connectivity to them (via app and remote control)? According to my electrician, this is not possible :-( Thanks for your advice

    WIFI flush-mounted switch

What do you actually do when the WIFI flush-mounted switches lose the wifi signal? Do you have to uncover them every time to reset them?

    Homematic switch actuator

Hello. I have a Homematic 4-fold switching actuator and a pair of wall switches to control the actuator.....Think this is no problem. My question: What do I have to buy or do in order to be able to monitor or operate these components via smartphone? And or can homematic components be connected to homematic ip somehow? Many thanks in advance!

Switching the WLAN router on and off remotely

I would like to switch the WiFi router off and on with a switch near the front door. Most of the systems I see here are WiFi-based, which are not much use for switching on the WiFi router. How would you solve this task?

Chandelier in the HUE network - but without HUE lamps

Hello all, We have a chandelier and don't really like the matching HUE lamps on it. Now it occurred to me that a switch / relay / ... (dingsbumbs - I don't know what it's called properly) can be put "in front" of the chandelier. (whatchamacallit - I don't know what it's called) can be put in front of the chandelier. The chandelier should ultimately be dimmable and find itself in the HUE network as a normal lamp. I don't know enough about this at the moment - can anyone give me a clue? I found the part here (but I have no idea if it is correct): https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/shelly-dimmer-2-automatisierung-13178715 Thanks in advance to the tekkies!

Smart socket that does not cover a 3-socket outlet

Hello together Is there a "smart" socket on the market that can be controlled via WLAN or Zigbee and does not cover a 3-socket outlet? I need the remaining 2 sockets and don't want to have a power strip in the kitchen. The plugs from MyStrom are huge and alternatives are apparently rare...

Smart Home with Asus rt-ac88u i-Mesh

Hello together I am an absolute newcomer to the smart home sector. I have set up a mesh WLAN at home with Asus and would like to set up a Smart Home. I think communication via the WLAN makes sense. Which provider do you suggest for a Smart Home (open or partially open system)? We still have a Philipps Hue set up. Most of the devices used in the house are Samsung and Apple. Thank you for your help.

Do you prefer the Google Home Mini or the Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen?

I want to buy a Google Home Mini or the Amazon Echo Dot 3.gen device, but I have no idea which device makes more sense in Switzerland. With the Amazon device, the jack connection would be very practical. Thanks for your answers :D

    Home Automation (Beginner) Advice

Hello all I have the following idea or I would like to implement it: Integrate HUE 2 into the home network and control it, e.g. when motion is detected when I enter the front door the light comes on. Integrate and control Arlo 2 cameras Outlet water detector and motion detector in front of the door in the hallway (apartment building incl. Arlo2). All of this should be able to be integrated, controlled and adjusted in a home automation kit and also be expandable. What can you recommend to me? Thank you

HomeKit socket and switch with dimmer function?

    Compatibility filter

Do you (Digitec) have the possibility to adjust the filter of the devices so that it says with which "sub-products" they are compatible. I mean Apple Homekit, Alexa, Google Home etc.

    Simple radio plug without fireworks

Hello I am looking for a very simple pair of plugs so that when I switch on one lamp, a second one also comes on. Without remote control, WiFi, cloud, an own app or the possibility to automatically order pizza. Just very simple on/off. Does this still exist? Love Tim
