Your faithful companion on every hike - the outdoor rucksack
The rucksack should not restrict your freedom of movement when hiking, it should be comfortable, not too heavy, not too big, but still offer enough space for the necessary equipment. We can advise you on finding the right companion for your back.
When choosing your outdoor rucksack, you should always pay attention to the following factors:
Daypacks: Light, small but well organised
Small backpacks or daypacks with a volume of 8 to 30 litres are sufficient for day trips, light hikes or everyday use. You will find the largest selection of colours and shapes in this area. As standard, these backpacks are equipped with organisational compartments and good aero systems, which ensure a high level of comfort and good ventilation.
Hiking backpacks: Space, good fit and versatile use
These backpacks usually offer a volume of between 30 and 50 litres. They have very good carrying systems that guarantee a secure fit and freedom of movement at the same time. They are suitable for longer tours and hikes, for high alpine use but also for cross-country skiing or ski tours.
Trekking backpacks: Lots of storage space and stability
Trekking backpacks can easily carry a load of more than 25 kg - with volumes of 50 to 75 litres - without compromising on carrying comfort. Ergonomically shaped hip belts and an internal frame ensure that the load is optimally transferred to the hips and well distributed. Trekking rucksacks are ideal for expedition tours lasting several days or weeks thanks to their large packing volume and many additional fastening loops and pockets.
For me, sport is passion, joy and recharging my batteries at the same time. In my free time you can find me outside training, on the tennis court, on the slopes with my board or surfing in the waves.
As product manager for the outdoor sector, I can thus fully live out my enthusiasm for the world of sport in my job.
