With the hot glue gun to 3D make-up

Translation: machine translated

Just when I thought humanity couldn't come up with another fancy way to draw eyeliner, TikTok proves me wrong. The tool of choice: hot glue. Ingenious!

The beauty community is a creative bunch that produces the craziest ideas. Among them, a lot of junk, while true gems like this DIY project are rather rare to find. Armed with a hot glue gun, I'm trying my hand at a homemade 3D graphic eyeliner. The principle behind it is so simple that I'm almost ashamed I didn't come up with the idea myself.

Use the hot glue to "paint" shapes and patterns onto a piece of baking paper, where you first let them cool. There are no limits to what you can do, just let yourself go! Popular subjects on social media are hearts, tears, lines, stars and dots. Once the glue has set, colour it in with a little eye shadow and carefully peel it off your base. You can now stick the 3D elements on your face with eyelash glue, similar to stickers. The result looks futuristic and is definitely an eye-catcher at parties, festivals, carnivals and the like. And the best thing about it: You can store used glue elements and reuse them later.

You can also use the glue to stick on your face. What you need:- Baking paper- Hot-glue-gun- Eye shadow applicator- Duochrome eyeshadow- eyelash-glue- Tweezers- Nail scissorsYou can find the step-by-step instructions and my first self-test in the video above. In this video series, I regularly share my make-up tips with you and put hyped and questionable products to the test.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
