When there’s a twinge in your back: Airex Coronella

My back hurts. It’s been a while but the pain has returned. Exercising? Unthinkable at the moment. I’m frustrated. Fortunately, the solution for my dilemma is within reach. It’s stuffed away in my bedroom under a pile of sports articles and it’s called «Airex Coronella».

What to do when the gym is a no-go for health reasons and running hurts too much? It’s simply: I lay myself down on a mat. Not only am I going easy on my battered back, I can also do a few exercises: planks, push-ups (remember that six-pack?)

The gym mat Coronella 185 is what you could call the allrounder of Airex mats. It perfectly combines dimension, material, hygiene, slip resistance, a good foothold and an almost endless lifespan. I’ve owned gym mats from many a manufacturer but this one suits my needs best.

In addition, the mat features great absorption properties. This spares my joints, ligaments and tendons from straining. This also applies to existing knee or back problems. Working out on the Coronella 185 is comfortable and safe. This also makes the Coronella a good choice if you’re planning on equipping a professional group fitness studio. But also for home use, the mat offers comfort and a long lifespan at great value for money.

Three tips for your Airex products:

  1. Use the products barefoot or with socks (no trainers).
  1. Clean your product with a simple soap solution. There’s no need to disinfect it as it comes with built-in sanitised protection. This prevents bacterial growth and unpleasant odours.
  1. Leave wet Airex products to thoroughly dry in the open air. They are suitable for outdoor use.

Ideal for:

  • Fitness/Prevention
  • Pilates/Yoga
  • Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation
  • Club sports/School sports
