The eye also applies make-up. Both literally and figuratively. Because our beauty products are becoming more and more attractive. 13 powdery works of art that stood out from the crowd for me at Cosmoprof.
Powders are both a curse and a blessing. A curse because I absolutely don't want to ruin them and a blessing because they make my powders eye-catching. The good news: while these surface embellishments have been used rather sparingly by Western brands up to now (keyword: Christmas collection), I've been seeing them more and more often in our spheres recently. A trend that we owe to the Asian beauty markets, whose creations are becoming increasingly popular here.
The following pictures show that we are only at the beginning when it comes to powder decor. I took them at this year's Cosmoprof in Bologna, one of the world's leading trade fairs for the cosmetics industry. There, I visited numerous Asian manufacturers, including those from China, Taiwan and Korea, at their stands to view the trends for the coming months.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
