Lego fans will be flocking to Uster from 25 to 27 August. Brixpo is being held there for the first time. A Lego exhibition with a varied programme and impressive buildings.

On the weekend of 25 to 27 August, everything will revolve around Lego at the Zeughaus in Uster. Brixpo is the largest exhibition of its kind in the region and is being held for the first time. "It was a spontaneous idea that turned out to be a little bigger than originally planned," says Michael Strasser from the Brixpo association.

On 750 square metres, you can marvel at structures, take part in workshops, visit robot battles or get hands-on in play pools. According to Strasser, the creativity and diversity should be endless: "We try to appeal to every age group with Brixpo."

Highlights include battle robots and a marble run

At Lego Brick Wars, robots made of Lego fight each other in an arena. Exciting duels result in relentless battles in which the bricks literally fly through the air. The first Swiss championship takes place at Brixpo. Whoever wins it will qualify for the World Championships in 2024.

Michael Strasser is particularly looking forward to the large ball track from GBC (Great Ball Contraption), which consists of several modules: "Many exhibitors contribute their own modules, which are then assembled into a large whole on site." Another highlight for Strasser is a four-metre-long sorting machine developed by two students from ETH Zurich.

The detailed programme, opening times and further information can be found on the exhibition website at brixpo.ch.
