Customers come into our stores to take inspiration from our showroom, collect their orders or make returns. They also benefit from other services, such as data transfer and the set-up of smartphones, tablets and notebooks.

Got yourself a new smartphone or notebook? Don’t have the time or motivation to transfer your data to the new device? We’ll take care of it for you. Here’s the time- and nerve-saving service we provide in our ten stores: we ensure all of your data is transferred to your new device and, if necessary, help you to set it up.

A mobile phone is usually ready in one day

The data transfer process isn’t quite as snappy as getting a screen protector fitted – you’ll need to factor in 1-3 working days, depending on the device and quantity of data. Mobile phones are usually good to go in one day, while notebooks with large quantities of data can take up to three days.

Our store employees check the data quantity right off the bat and agree a collection time with the customer. The cost of the data transfer including set-up comes in at 159 francs for a notebook and 55 francs for a mobile phone. If the customer only needs help with the set-up, we provide this service for notebooks for 59 francs.

Data protection is the be-all and end-all

Smartphones, tablets and notebooks are personal items – photos, videos, notes and telephone numbers are strictly the business of the device’s owner. Data protection is our top priority. «What’s private, stays private. Data protection is a question of trust, and that’s at the heart of what we do in store», assures Alkeos Varouxis, Store Manager in Bern. The photos of your last Tinder date, selfies from that weekend party, or the video from your previous family holiday only change devices – no more, no less.

Our store services at a glance

We offer our customers the following services at our ten stores:

  • Customised screen protectors for smartphones, tablets and smartwatches
  • Putting smartphones, tablets and notebooks into service, as well as data transfer

How do you do your data transfer? Via the Cloud or an external storage device? Or do you prefer to leave it up to someone else? Let us know in the comments.
