The day of the swan or: How to cause a stir at the lake

Sunday: The weather was beautiful and we hadn't planned anything else yet. The perfect time to cycle to the lake and test out the new air mattress swan. No sooner said than done: off we went by bike to Lake Zurich.
As the packaging with the swan was quite heavy, we (my better half and I) decided to unpack the swan beforehand and take it with us in our rucksack. We wouldn't have been able to transport the whole box so easily on the bike. Of course, we also packed an air pump and everything else you need for a swim.
On arrival at the lake, we first looked for a good place to inflate the swan. With the double stroke, it was inflated in a good 10 minutes: First the inner part and then the outer part including the swan's wings and head. The swan looks much smaller in the packaging than it actually is. It really is huge! We tried it out: Two adults can lie on the swan very comfortably.

Inflated and oversized, the swan was immediately a huge attraction. It was particularly popular with the children. They naturally wanted to see the swan straight away and climb on it. But the adults also stopped and took photos. Our swan practically became a tourist attraction on Lake Zurich.
After we had warmed up a bit, we carried the swan into the lake in pairs (there is a handle on each side) to test the swan's suitability for the water. If you're already standing in the water, it's a bit of a hurdle to get onto the swan. But I managed to pull myself up (more or less elegantly)
.

On the top, you really have every opportunity to position yourself: With your head leaning against the swan's neck or the back of the swan's bum, sideways on the wings, on your stomach or on your back. I've tried everything.

After we'd had enough of the water, I thought about how we were going to get the swan out of the water again without hitting one of the bathers with one of its wings. But what's the point of having a man by your side? There wasn't much discussion. My better half simply turned the swan round and carried it head over heels out of the water. A little safety advice at this point: please check that no one is sitting on the swan beforehand.
After that, we tested the swan on land. It's great for two people to lie on the air mattress and relax. I also found it comfortable to sit on the grass and use the swan as a backrest.
Later in the evening (after the swan was dry) we let the air out and folded it up again. We were able to fold it up quite easily, so we put it back in the rucksack and cycled home. Once there, we were able to easily stow it back in the pack.
Conclusion: This swan is huge! You really have a lot of space to lie on it. Children love the swan (I've seen it myself) and it also looks really good.
Here you can find many more beautiful air mattresses.
