Tableware from Atelier Agave - now available from us

Because cookery book author and food photographer Joel Adank was searching in vain for the perfect tableware for his photos, he founded his own label. We now have some of the products in our shop.
The story behind the Atelier Agave brand is quickly told. In 2021, Joel Adank attended a pottery course out of interest. As a food photographer, Adank regularly worked with tableware. However, he was always on the lookout for crockery that met his requirements. What was meant to be a hobby developed into a business idea.
Adank produces his sample items on the potter's wheel in his Zurich studio. They are then produced in factories in Portugal. The crockery is produced in small quantities.
Examples from the current collection
The Atelier Agave range extends from classic to modern designs that blend harmoniously into Nordic interiors. The Müesli Bowl in light grey measures 16.50 centimetres and has a capacity of 0.60 litres.

The reactive glaze «Midnight Grey» makes each bowl unique. With this glaze, chemical reactions take place during the firing process, resulting in colour gradients, speckles or patterns. Of course, a salad or dessert also tastes great from the bowl.
For coffee lovers, Adank has developed the cappuccino mug with the glaze «Black Dots».
With a volume of 200 millilitres, it corresponds to the standard size for cappuccino and was specially designed for baristas. The ceramic mugs are easy to stack and are suitable for cappuccino or a lungo.
The large jug in «Black Dots» with a capacity of two litres aims to combine functionality and aesthetics. The spout is designed so that no drops are spilt when pouring.
The splashes of colour are sprayed on by hand. The jug is suitable both as a water jug and for larger quantities of tea.
In addition to the «Black Dots» variant, there is also a variant in a simpler design.
