7 things you shouldn't miss at Suisse Toy Digital
by Philipp Rüegg
The "Suisse Toy" took place from 12 to 15 October 2017 in Bern. I was there and show you my highlights of the biggest toy fair in Switzerland.
"Suisse Toy" will take place at BERNEXPO right next to the Stade de Suisse from 12 to 15 October 2017. It is the largest toy fair in Switzerland and is divided into two main areas. The "Suisse Toy Classic" and the "Suisse Toy Digital". The "Classic" is all about classic games. Everything from dolls, building blocks, board games and Playmobil is on display. At the "Digital", computer games and consoles take centre stage. I naturally focussed on the classic games. They have much more charm and bring back childhood memories for all of us.
I particularly liked the following things about the "Suisse Toy Classic":
Who doesn't know them? The racetracks from Carrera. They have set up a challenging course at Suisse Toy. Every visitor, big or small, can take the throttle in their hands and duel against the others. The racetrack set up by Carrera has space for five racers at the same time. Fun and adrenaline guaranteed.

There are thousands of Kapla building blocks lying around on a huge blue carpet. Here you can let your creativity run wild. Whether it's a replica of the Bundeshaus or a tower that reaches up to the hall ceiling. There are enough blocks for both projects.

Little trade fair visitors won't miss out either. There are all kinds of trains and tracks to play with at the Brio stand. You can easily build a huge railway layout here. Definitely a must-see stand for the little ones among you.

Here the blow hits you. Playmobil without end. I've never seen such a large collection of Playmobil sets in my life. But the plastic figures are not all sealed in the packs. Several models are waiting to be played with. Here you can immerse yourself completely in the world of Playmobil.

There is a petting zoo in front of the exhibition hall. Nothing to do with toys, but hey! Who doesn't like animals? Cute little lambs, small sheep and hens. A highlight for every child. Guaranteed.
The "Suisse Toy" is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're into classic games or games, you're guaranteed to get your money's worth here. It's an ideal destination for the whole family, where children and adults can satisfy their gaming instincts. I loved it and I'll definitely be back next year when it's time to play!

Riding my motorbike makes me feel free, fishing brings out my inner hunter, using my camera gets me creative. I make my money messing around with toys all day.
