Stylish and comfortable travelling

Travelling in comfort and still looking stylish? Our guest author Tasia knows how and tells you which accessories she takes with her on her trips.
When I reach the top of the viewing platform, it takes my breath away - but I'm not sure whether it's because of the stairs or the breathtaking view: turquoise-coloured water as far as the eye can see. Like something out of a film. Add to that fascinating rock formations and a bright sun that forces me to put on my sunglasses in order to see anything at all. This view is absolutely worth the hour-long climb. As soon as I've regained my composure, I reach for my rucksack and pull out my camera. I want to remember this. After all, I've wanted to come here to Capri, a small island in the Gulf of Naples, for years.
When I'm putting together looks for a trip, I have to admit that I pay less attention to comfort or practicality and more to appearance. In other words: as long as the shoes look good, it doesn't matter if my feet hurt a little at the end of the day. Pretty stupid, I know. But at least you never know who you'll meet on the way or when you'll have to pose for a cool photo. For this trip, however, I had to rethink my packing a little. I therefore selected the following three accessories that I could use to put together cool looks and that are also both comfortable and practical.

At every turn
To reach the really cool Insta-worthy spots on the island, you have to walk for kilometres and climb hundreds of stairs. So it's pretty strenuous. Comfortable shoes are therefore an absolute must on this trip. But I didn't want to miss out on a cool look. That's why I opted for the Fresh Foam Zante Summer Utility trainers from New Balance this time. They are super light and feel like you're walking on cushions. What's more, the sneakers are available in different colours - I opted for the mint green ones. They are not only stylish, but also comfortable. A direct hit!

A view to hold on to
I've already mentioned the breathtaking views on this island. Believe me when I tell you that a mobile phone photo cannot do justice to reality. That's why I always had my large SLR camera with me. So this time I had to do without my beloved cute little handbags. I needed more space. In addition to the camera, my wallet, mobile and sun cream should always be close at hand. When I was looking for a suitable rucksack, I came across the leather Cameron Street Neema rucksack from Kate Spade: love at first sight. Luckily for me, it also has more than enough space to store everything I need.
Eye-catcher
The coolest accessory of all is probably a pair of sunglasses. So far, I've opted for inexpensive ones that are more jewellery than sun protection. However, they're not enough for sunny Italy. In the end, I took a pair of inexpensive sunglasses from Invu with me to Capri, which impressed me with their metal frames and 100% UV protection.
