Stripes, pink, the 80s - these are the trends of the season!

What do stripes, hiking, pink, the 80s and bold messages have in common? Exactly, these are the new trends of the season. On this page, you'll find a few favourites from the new collection. What's more, I'll show you how to apply the trends from the catwalks to everyday life, and what to look out for.
Think pink
Pink is for girls and princesses. Wrong! Pink is the colour of the season. Match it with the first days of spring, and you'll bring a touch of freshness to your wardrobe. Fashion editors and designers dedicate entire photo series and models to the colour. Well combined, colour works just as well for women as it does for men. For the bold: monochrome from head to toe. Accentuate with black jeans. The more timid can familiarise themselves with colour by starting with a pastel tone.

Let your clothes do the talking
Slogans and logos are more current than ever. Whether you read NZZ, Vogue or Neon, clothes with slogans or logos are everywhere. In these turbulent times, stars, protesters and activists are letting their clothes do the talking. Natalie Portman, for example, protested against Trump with the slogan "We all should be feminists" on a Dior T-shirt. The Vetements label is announcing a successful development with its simple jumpers and T-shirts featuring, for example, the DHL logo, the words "Police" and political slogans. Under the motto "Go Bold or Go Home", T-shirts with slogans or logos should not be missing from any wardrobe.

Dare stripes
We love stripes: thick, thin, multicoloured, monochrome, pastel colours or deep black, regular or irregular - stripes are always on trend. If you want to look taller or slimmer, vertical stripes are ideal. Thin vertical stripes on a dark background are also great for curvier figures. Horizontal stripes are better than their reputation. Placed in the right place, they can hide unfavourable proportions. If you combine a horizontal striped T-shirt with a dark cardigan or blazer, a small area appears in the centre and makes you look slimmer. If you're brave, you can go for the all-stripes look. To do this, mix thin and thick, horizontal and vertical stripes. Experiment with different colours too.

Outdoor in the city
Mountains, altitude and nights under the stars aren't your thing? That's no reason to write off the outdoors. Thanks to the outdoor trend, you can also feel like a high-altitude sportsman. For example, combine functional clothing with jeans, trainers and a rucksack. Bright colours are a must for this trend. Warm tones, mustard yellow, khaki, a subdued red and blue determine the colour choice.

Back to the 80s
After the 90s in 2016, the 80s are back in 2017: bright colours, a mix of patterns, colourful prints, metallics and sequins. Broad shoulders for men and women, a belt at the waist and flounced sleeves are also part of the style. Do you think the style is daring and too much? Then you've come to the right place. I'll be showing you some 80s-style clothes that you can easily mix and match. Colourful socks as a focal point, eccentric shorts and T-shirts in cult colours and wild prints. [[image:7401274]]
