Secondhand shopping is in vogue at Digitec Galaxus

Customers bought used products almost twice as often on digitec and Galaxus compared to last year. And this year’s shaping up to be another strong one in terms of growth. The most-sold items on both online shops are currently mobile phones, graphics cards and monitors.

A success rate of 44 per cent

That same year, customers selling the following secondhand products had the highest success rates:

  • Fan controllers: 77%
  • Heart rate belts: 77%
  • Webcams: 76%
  • External optical drives: 75%
  • Mobile phone VR headsets: 75%
  • Styluses: 75%
  • Headphone stands: 73%
  • Streaming media players: 72%
  • Notebook stands: 71%
  • Powerlines: 71%

However, in absolute terms, Digitec Galaxus customers sold mainly used mobile phones last year, followed by PC monitors, graphics cards, headphones and notebooks.
