Bring your Legos to life. SBrick has released an upgraded version with the Plus. You can now also connect sensors to it. Combine the SBrick Plus with your Lego bricks and control them with the help of your smartphone or tablet.

Last year, the company Vengit launched the SBrick Smart via a Kickstarter campaign. In the meantime, they have already launched a new version. The SBrick Plus!

Although the new SBrick Plus looks almost the same as its predecessor, it has one more great function in store. You can now not only control various servos with it, but also connect it to various sensors. This means that you can carry out many automated steps with it, turning your Legos into autonomous robots.

The associated software remains the same as the previous model. If you have already tested or used this model, the changeover to the Plus will not be rocket science. For all those who have never held an SBrick in their hands: Don't worry. The programme is very intuitive and does not require a great deal of programming knowledge. If you want to find out more about the first SBrick, you can read about it here:

Connecting sensors

As already mentioned, the SBrick Plus can now process all kinds of sensors. The spectrum ranges from A-Z. Whether it's a motion sensor, a temperature sensor or an inclination sensor, the intelligent SBrick Plus can handle it all. In the following video you can see how such sensors can be used with a Lego train.

You can also, for example, install the SBrick Plus in a vehicle from Lego Technic.
