Pixio: pixel art with magnets

Minecraft has brought pixels back into fashion. People, animals or plants – Pixio magnets allow you to build your own pixel world.

Pixio is bringing pixels into your home. Actual pixels, not virtual ones. Pixio construction sets consist of cubes in a range of colours that can be put together to form any structure or sculpture you want. The eight-millimetre plastic cubes have six small magnets inside, which makes it easy to stick them together.

It takes almost nothing to separate cubes, making Pixio particularly suitable for children from the age of six. Constructing Pixio sculptures promotes creativity as well as cognitive skills. However, you shouldn’t let too young children play with them, because there’s a risk of them swallowing the small cubes.

Need inspiration? No problem, as every set includes a small booklet with instructions. Pixio has also released an app for iOS and Android, which includes many more ideas for your pixel world.

Riding my motorbike makes me feel free, fishing brings out my inner hunter, using my camera gets me creative. I make my money messing around with toys all day.
