Our best new toys in November

With Christmas coming closer, toy manufacturers are introducing new toys almost daily. We’ve had a look through the newest products and have picked out our favourites.
New Ugears products
Personally, I’m a big fan of Ugears, so there was no question I’d add their newest toy to my list. Ugears produce wood models that you can assemble without any special tools, glue or chemicals. Most of them are mechanical; just like this new robot factory with 598 component parts.

3D printer for children
Why should only adults and tech enthusiasts have the chance to play around with a 3D printer? With this new Giochi Preziosi product, 3D printing becomes accessible to children. This great and versatile toy supports technical thinking and allows children to be creative. Thumbs up from me!
For tomorrow’s scientists
Ravensburger are known for their science kits and are always looking for new exciting experiments for children. Their newest find is this kit about the future of energy, which allows young scientists to discover and try out renewable energy in a playful way.
Plenty of power
With a 2.4 GHz electro motor, 4-wheel drive, adjustable oil-filled shocks and many more impressive features, this is a real racer. The remote-controlled Mustang comes fully assembled; unwrap it and you’re ready to go. Being easy to steer and control, this car is suitable for beginners.
The sky is the limit
Another remote-controlled toy, but one that’s in the air rather than on the road. TobyRich’s ultra-light aircraft is controlled by smartphone; tilt your phone to steer the SmartPlane Pro through the sky and perform loopings, vertical hovering and other stunts.
Time for coffee
This toy coffee machine allows your children to do exactly what you do (if you’re a coffee drinker): They can make coffee and will learn about colours and shapes at the same time. If you’re lucky, your kids might even invite you to have coffee with them – or they might invite their favourite soft toys instead.
Oh how fluffy!
The chubby unicorn plastic figures are a classic, but now this chubby creature is also available as a fluffy toy. And of course, it still has a rainbow-coloured mane, a tutu and a wand.
Party game, anyone?
My first association with Fifty Shades of Grey never used to be party games. But now, they’ve released a board game. I haven’t had the chance to try it out, but it sounds interesting. I wonder what the prize for the winner is…
