Now available: the Knirps X4U in fur design

Small, practical and now even more colourful: Knirps is launching its award-winning mini umbrella with waterproof case in a new design.
There's no denying that autumn is just around the corner and the weather will be unpredictable. With a compact umbrella like the X4U from traditional brand Knirps in your bag, you can at least arm yourself against unexpected downpours without having to carry a lot of weight around with you.
The tiny device weighs 130 grammes and can withstand wind speeds of up to 100 kilometres per hour. At least that's what the manufacturer promises. Knirps has actually tested the X4U in the wind tunnel. When folded, the umbrella is 21 centimetres long; when unfolded, the canopy offers you 90 centimetres of protection against water from above.
The X4U is not entirely new in our shop. It has been available in three bright and two subtle colours for almost a year. But now a brand new colour has been added. And it's sure to make you stand out: The «Furry» design looks like a cuddly toy on neon-coloured steroids.

Waterproof transport cover
Even after a shower, the X4U should not be unpleasantly conspicuous: The parasol comes with a waterproof case. You can stow the wet umbrella in it without soaking everything else in your bag. Just don't forget to set the umbrella up to dry at some point.
Knirps has also won a prestigious prize for the design of the X4U with the Red Dot Design Award 2025. The jury based its choice on the compact dimensions, bright colours and the transport case.
