Now available from us: Baufan products for your DIY project

We now have many new products from the DIY brand Baufan. If you like renovating, repairing and filling, you might find what you're looking for here.
Cool, if you do it yourself - or something. Especially when there's something to be filled, painted or glued. Our purchasing department has really stepped up to the plate and added many products from the Baufan brand, which is widely used in Germany, to our range.
In this article, I will introduce you to three shop innovations as examples.

The white protective paint is a special coating for stressed interiors. If there's another splash in the kitchen or your little one smears toothpaste on the walls, protective paint at least ensures that you can easily wipe the dirt off again - without having to scrub all the paint off the wall. The company states that the wet abrasion resistance is the second highest class 2. The paint is said to be suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and other damp rooms and also offers long-term protection against mould infestation. The five-litre container is sufficient for around 30 to 35 square metres of wall surface.
Tile and joint repair compound is what you need if the joints in your wall tiles in the bathroom or kitchen are crumbling. You can press the grey compound directly from the tube onto the damaged area using the applicator tip and fill it in. It is waterproof and should harden without cracking. However, the area should not be permanently wet, says Baufan. So please don't smear it in the bathtub.
Wooden mouldings and frames can also cause unsightly accidents. I know this from my cat. If it gets its sharp claws into the wood in a bad mood, it gets sawdust. But even with old windows, sun and water can cause a wooden frame to rot. Mouldy areas can be removed and you can save the window with the help of a wood repair compound.
To do this, carefully apply the compound to the area to be repaired and mould it with a spatula. The compound should also harden without cracking. It can then be painted over. In outdoor areas, a weather-resistant coat of paint is strongly recommended afterwards.
It's unlikely that you need these things right now - but maybe you're planning a DIY project or upgrading your toolbox. Then it might be worth taking a look at our entire Baufan range. Many more products will be added in the future
