The Coffee Crush is somewhere between a compact fully automatic machine and an automated portafilter machine. Above all, however, it is designed to deliver good espresso quickly.

Krups categorises the Coffee Crush as a portafilter machine, but describes it as a fully automatic espresso coffee machine. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

In any case, the Coffee Crush is aimed at coffee fans who have little space in the kitchen but don't want a compact capsule machine. The machine is only 15 centimetres wide, 36 centimetres high and just under 30 centimetres deep. Krups advertises with simple use and quick emptying of the coffee grounds. And of course with delicious coffee.

At the touch of a button, the Coffee Crush grinds the coffee beans, tamps and brews at 15 bar pressure. The degree of grinding of the stainless steel grinder can be adjusted in five stages. The machine can process both roasted beans and pre-ground coffee powder. This means that decaffeinated coffee is also possible.

On the touch control panel, you can choose between espresso or lungo and set the intensity of the drink. According to the manufacturer, you can empty the coffee grounds container in next to no time once the coffee has been dispensed: Pull the container out of the machine with one hand, turn it over and press out the remains with a button. Krups promises that there is no need to knock out or laboriously scrape out the coffee grounds.

The water tank holds 1.8 litres, the container for the coffee beans 150 grammes.
