Metal Earth: models that can be assembled in half an hour

Metal Earth produces small metal models that can be assembled rather quickly from pre-cut and engraved steel sheets. Despite having rather stubby hands, I managed to build the Eiffel Tower model in 45 minutes.

These construction kits remind me of the paper models from my childhood. It is true that they were made of cardboard or thick paper, but the pre-cut sheets of Metal Earth are really very similar, only they are made of metal. During school holidays, I would spend hours assembling my paper models, using gallons of glue. For Metal Earth models, on the other hand, you don't need glue. You just need the pins to twist and fold the tabs.

It doesn't take you long to assemble this little Eiffel Tower. It took me more or less three quarters of an hour. But the sausages on my hands certainly didn't help. If you have fine, nimble hands you could do it in half an hour. Metal Earth also offers larger models, which in addition to time require quite a bit more patience. In our assortment you will find other models similar to this one of the Eiffel Tower, such as the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars or the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.

These models must be kept out of the reach of small children. As well as being small, the individual metal parts have sharp edges and can be dangerous if swallowed. The manufacturer recommends a minimum age of 14 years. Personally, I think this is a bit of an exaggeration and I am convinced that eight or ten year old children can handle it safely. In fact, having small hands will be a great advantage for them 😉.
