LG fridge-freezer now available from us
The name "Fit & Max" for the combination fridge-freezer from LG says it all. It offers a large volume and can be fully integrated.
If you've ever looked for a freezer or fridge that fits seamlessly into your fitted kitchen, you'll know the problem: minimum clearances are often required around the appliance to prevent waste heat from building up. In addition, there are often unsightly ventilation grilles or cut-outs have to be sawn into the worktop. With the «Fit & Max» fridge-freezer combination from LG, this planning effort should be reduced. We offer the combination appliance in two designs:
«Prime Silver» goes well with light-coloured kitchens with stainless steel elements. «Essence Black Steel» is a matt colour that blends in with darker kitchen concepts.
Fully integrable
The «Fit & Max» is 69.7 centimetres wide, 203 centimetres high and 70.4 centimetres deep. As the air is supplied and extracted from the front, the combi can be integrated into the corresponding niche without any gaps. According to the manufacturer's instructions, you should still keep a distance of at least 50 millimetres to the rear of the wall or cabinet.
A special feature is the large opening angle of 110 degrees, although the housing is flush with the neighbouring cabinets. This should allow you to pull out drawers a long way or remove larger bowls more easily. This is made possible by special hinges, which LG calls «Zero Clearance». The doors have no visible handles, which creates a clean look in the kitchen.
With the door open (90 degrees), the fridge freezer protrudes 136 centimetres into the room.
Lots of storage space for freshness
The total capacity of 465 litres is divided into 326 litres in the refrigerator compartment and 139 litres in the freezer compartment. LG combines several technologies for cooling: «LinearCooling» is designed to minimise temperature fluctuations, «DoorCooling» supplies the door compartments with cool air and «Multi-Airflow» ensures even air circulation throughout the interior.
Both areas are equipped «Total No Frost» so that no manual defrosting is necessary. LG states the annual consumption as 191 kWh (energy class C).
One of the most striking functions is the «Fresh-Converter-Zone». You can set the temperature for this compartment in three stages using the display on the appliance. For cheese 2 degrees, 0 degrees for fish and -3 degrees for meat. According to LG, the appliance maintains your setting exactly. The zone is intended for sensitive foods.
Interior features
The cooling area has four glass shelves, one of which is height-adjustable, and four door inserts. There is also a wine and bottle rack in a flat design, a pull-out shelf, an adjustable shelf and a door basket.
Four drawers are available in the freezer compartment.
WLAN and app
The appliance is Wi-Fi enabled. You can control it via the «ThinQ» app. The so-called «AI Fresh & Saving Mode» is an interesting feature: it analyses individual usage behaviour and adjusts the temperature control accordingly. The aim is to save energy. However, whether and to what extent the effect is measurable depends on individual behaviour.
The device was developed for environments from 16 degrees upwards.
