Laura's Likes: From wellies to dog jackets - 7 favourite items from Barbour
Is it even officially a new year before the fashion search engine Lyst has published its Q4 report from the previous year? Now the analysis from the last quarter of 2025 is finally here and brings a traditional British brand to our attention.
147 per cent. According to Lyst, search queries for Barbour rose by this impressive figure in Q4 2025. Justification enough for a place among the fastest rising brands in the fashion search engine's latest report.
Now «fast» is of course relative when you consider that Barbour was founded in Shields, England, back in 1894. Much more noteworthy is the impressive consistency that the brand has demonstrated for more than 130 years: its iconic wax and quilted jackets are a staple of the British royal family. Brands such as Ganni, Paul Smith and Levi's didn't take long to come up with joint capsule collections. However, Barbour can take full credit for the item that drove up search requests at the end of last year: the «Blue Martha Quilted Jacket». Unfortunately, we don't have this exact quilted jacket in our range - but we do have 260 other products. Here are my seven favourites:
Scarf «Braden»
Made from 100 per cent lambswool, the 180-centimetre-long «Braden» scarf keeps you nice and warm. Its tartan pattern is timeless - and characteristic of Barbour.

Quilted waistcoat «Klara»
The quilted waistcoat with fleece lining works on its own on colder days. At lower temperatures, it is also ideal as an extra layer to wear underneath.
Quilted jacket «Hornby»
A worthy alternative to the popular (and in many places out of stock) «Martha».
Wax jacket «Beadnell»
The robust wax jackets are the absolute classics in the Barbour range. The corduroy collar and chequered lining are a must.
Fleece jacket «Malena»
Less weatherproof than the quilted or waxed models, but all the cosier for it.
Rubber boots «Leighton»
Yep, wellies are also available in nice colours. «Leighton» reach below the knee and can really conquer any puddle with their thick tread sole.
Dog coat
Does your dog really need a coat? Opinions differ on this. But if so, then please choose one from Barbour.
Always in the mood for good hits, great trips and clinking drinks.
Practical solutions for everyday problems with technology, household hacks and much more.
