Laminate flooring - instructions for correct installation

Laminate flooring has many positive characteristics. Unusual designs, stability and easy-care handling are what make a good laminate so popular. In this article, we explain the most important quality criteria for laminate.
First of all, laminate flooring is very robust and hard-wearing. Thanks to digital printing, almost any look is possible. The enormous variety of products even enables stone or
ceramic look. In a nutshell, you benefit from the following properties:

So-called wear classes indicate the abrasion of the laminate decor, the abrasion resistance. Depending on the thickness of the wear layer, the laminate is assigned to a service class. A higher wear class is advisable for heavily used floors.
3. size and thickness of the laminate
The thickness of the panels is decisive for the durability and therefore the service life of the laminate. There are laminate thicknesses from 6 to 12 mm. The thicker the flooring, the more durable it is. Laminates from 7 mm are suitable for normal loads. 8 mm is well suited for entry-level and private use. For commercial use, it is recommended to use 11 mm panels.
