Highlights of the Berlin fashion fairs

In January, Berlin was transformed into a fashion capital. Fashion journalists, bloggers, buyers, stars and future stars were all there to discover the latest trends. Galaxus was there too. Here are my highlights from the Premium, Panorama and Seek shows.
Lable to Watch

Native Youth is an English brand known for its unusual fashion. Cuts, prints and materials that are out of the ordinary. The clothes are sold at very interesting prices and, I hope, will soon be available at Galaxus.
Favourite Swiss brand

We hadn't even arrived at Seek yet and we'd already met our favourite label straight from the Swiss mountains: Nnim. The new collection from Nnim, the Valais-based brand, is once again based on an attachment to the country. Many of the outfits feature an abstract Swiss cross. Often in classic red. Striking inscriptions are definitely one of the biggest trends at the show, and are also very much in evidence at Nnim. I'm pleased to discover that the new collection also includes some classic pieces - ideal for the evening after spending the day on the board, for the office or university.
Trendy trucker jackets

As well as flashy lettering, trucker jackets are also popular. Virtually every brand has one in its range. Lined or unlined, the jackets are very easy to coordinate. For its 50th anniversary, Levis, the inventor of the trucker jacket, let its staff create their own designs and then displayed them on the show stand.
Quick straightening

Although the Keen stand was fairly self-effacing, it managed to attract plenty of people. Keen wove colourful sandals live. The bravest visitors were even allowed to try them on. I was fascinated by the simplicity of the production process. Although the shape and choice of colours are not to everyone's taste, Keen is simply brilliant for travelling with a rucksack on your back. The shoes are easy to care for and extremely lightweight.
Best stand

At Panorama, there was a metro station, a safari world and a hanging garden. Brands competed with each other with the design of their stands. But no one managed to do better than Marc Cain. The size of the stand, the love of detail and the harmony between the theme and the clothes were simply perfect.
