Everything you need for Switzerland's World Cup quarter-final
The Swiss national team is in a World Cup quarter-final for the first time in over 70 years. The whole country is celebrating, everything is red and white. So that you too can stock up, here is a crusade through our assortment.
"You appear in the morning red...", well, three o'clock is a bit early for morning red. But that's exactly when the World Cup quarter-final between world champions Argentina and Switzerland will kick off for us on Sunday in Kansas City. After the nerve-wracking penalty shootout in the round of 16 against Colombia, the question remains: Does anyone have any fingernails left to bite? And: Who is setting their alarm for the duel against Messi and his team? Or rather: Who isn't? Tsk tsk tsk...

This Sunday, we're turning night into day! Switzerland is ready for this World Cup thriller. Cities like Zurich, Bern, and Basel have approved the "Freinacht" (extended opening hours) for restaurants and public viewings. One thing is for sure: at this sleepy hour, coffee is a must. One cup. Or two. Maybe even more.
Before we cheer, support, and worry with the Nati on Sunday, we prepare diligently and show our colors. That's why the flag doesn't come out of our mouths, but into the garden, onto the house wall, or on the flagpole. That's already a big plus.
It goes without saying that this is not enough. Luckily, there are other decorative materials in all shapes and sizes. The main thing is that the Swiss cross is on it. On also thought so in the end.

Clothes make the man, they say. I say: Clothes make the fan. Whether in a suit, retro jersey, or romper, the main thing is Switzerland.
And while we're on the subject of appearance, the right accessories are, of course, a must. Here you go, help yourself.
At the start of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Switzerland sensationally beat the reigning European champions Spain 1-0. Thank you forever, Gelson Fernandes! Spain later became world champions, the Nati got stuck in the group stage, never mind. In 2010, the vuvuzela also became world-famous – or infamous. With it, we trumpet as loud as we can – and remind the Swiss of their magnificent performance against Spain. To good neighborliness!
Yes, the round of 16 against Colombia was more about tension than excitement. Should that be the case again against Argentina, we'll keep an eye on the game and play ourselves. Stöck, Wys, Stich. Or something like that.

Admittedly, ordering and delivery will be a bit tight until the World Cup quarter-final against Argentina on Sunday. But there's also the semi-final, and the final isn't until July 19th. Even if nothing comes of it from a Swiss perspective, we'll soon be celebrating August 1st. So you're definitely not ordering in vain.
