digitec podcast episode 10: Pixel 5 leak, 4K switch, Batman news and "Tenet"

Will the Pixel 5 only come in one size? Why is Apple now fighting with Wordpress as well as Epic? Is Nintendo planning a 4K Switch and is it worth going to the cinema for "Tenet"? We answer these and other questions in this episode of the digitec podcast.
Apple is in a contentious mood. It is bickering in court with Epic, which is demanding its own payment system for "Fortnite", among other things. Wordpress also came under fire for a similar reason. Apple managed to get an apology out of them, but they still emerged victorious.
Meanwhile, Google has leaked the first real image of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. At least we think it's real.
The company DC was quick to provide information. At Fandome, a digital event organised by the comic publisher, numerous new trailers were shown at the weekend. These included "The Batman", "Wonder Woman 1984", the Snyder Cut of "Justice League" and two new games in the "Batman" universe. It's just a shame that none of these will be released in the foreseeable future. Instead, we still have "Flight Simulator" and the audiovisual fireworks called "Risk of Rain 2".
Christopher Nolan's latest stroke of genius requires no more waiting: "Tenet". The film opens in cinemas on 26 August. Luca has already seen it and tells us how he found it.

As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
