I’ve found the perfect slippers for cold days
by Stephanie Vinzens

Until recently, I didn't realise that Crocs offered really good, fluffy slippers. I'm now on my second pair. Why I swear by the "Classic Fuzz Scuff" model.
For many people, Crocs are the shoes of choice for everything that takes place within a 20-metre radius of the house, whether it's gardening or going to the postbox. For me, however, the brand scores highly with its fluffy slippers for the home.
I tested the «Classic Unfurgettable Clog» from Crocs back in December and found them to be my ideal slippers for winter.
My curiosity about the Crocs slipper department was piqued. My next test model: the «Classic Fuzz Scuff» in the colour «Quartz» - also fluffy, but with a slightly more open cut.
The silhouette of this model is reminiscent of a classic slipper. However, the characteristic plastic surface with a perforated pattern leaves no doubt as to where the shoe comes from. The faux fur, which completely lines the sole and interior, provides the cosy factor. Together with the padded collar, this gives the «Classic Fuzz Scuff» a cosy look and feel.

What I really like is the Croslite outsole. It gives me the feeling of really having something on my feet. According to Crocs, the shoe is also suitable for outdoors - but I have a strict separation between street shoes and slippers.
In contrast to the «Unfurgettable», the «Fuzz Scuff» does not completely enclose the foot. This gives it a more airy feel overall and is ideal for anyone who prefers a freer feel. The open fit also makes the model more versatile: it is not only suitable for winter, but also for cool spring and autumn days.

The sole of the «Fuzz Scuff» is also significantly flatter and the model is noticeably lighter overall. The «Unfurgettable», on the other hand, offers a little more cushioning and a softer feel. I alternate between the two models as a matter of course - depending on my mood, temperature and need for cosiness.
As mentioned in the article about the «Unfurgettable», a good slipper has to be easy to clean for me: if I can't clean it in the washing machine, I don't even want it. It's a good thing that the «Fuzz Scuff» is so uncomplicated. They survived the short gentle wash cycle undamaged and air drying was also relatively quick.
