Beauty favourite of the month: the light concealer for natural days
We have 47,000 beauty products in our range. And the trend is rising. Finding the real treasures among them can be a bit time-consuming. A little help wouldn't hurt. My recommendation for you this month: the Perfect Match Concealer from L'Oréal Paris.
I have to make a clear distinction right at the start: There are concealers that can even conceal a black hole. And then there are those, like L'Oréal's "Perfect Match", which you apply on those days when the sky is blue and the birds are chirping melodiously at you about how pretty you are even without make-up. Whether you're a slimy bird or not, concealer is always a must, but sometimes a light version will do. You know, for that natural touch.
All right, so we've set our sights on the "you-look-great-without-make-up concealer" from L'Oréal Paris. Now you're probably wondering why I think it's so good. So I'd like to briefly summarise for you:
- The applicator is nice and flat and flexible, so you can even get to the hard-to-reach areas, such as the inner corners of the eyes
- The texture is very moisturising, goes on like silk under the eyes and is therefore a real winner, especially for dry skin
- The finish is not matte, but really shines, so that dark circles can be cheated away twice
- The opacity is in the light to medium range
- The product only settles minimally on me after prolonged wear, as long as I have set it with a powder
These are many advantages for me and my personal needs. But there is also a "small" catch.
Where it still falls short
Unfortunately, there are only six colours to choose from in Switzerland. All of them tend to be in the light-skinned range. In America, there are more shades. But why we are repeatedly confronted with a limited colour selection, especially in Switzerland, is incomprehensible to me. At the latest after Rihanna drew attention to the topic with her make-up line "Fenty Beauty" and launched her foundation in 40 shades in one go, a new standard has been set in the beauty industry in this respect.
