The Advent calendar from Feey is something for all plant lovers. Hidden behind each "door" are plants and accessories that promise joy beyond the festive season. You can pre-order it now.
The company Feey from Switzerland has developed a different kind of advent calendar. Instead of sweets, a small indoor garden grows here day by day. Provided that you or the person receiving the gift takes care of the little plants inside. You'll find two variants here.
To keep the suspense going, I won't reveal the full contents of the calendar. The surprises are in small boxes printed with windows and doors. Fold the roofs together from the enclosed craft sheets and build a winter village from the little houses.
Part of the village is a small greenhouse in which little plants are already growing. Openings at the back should allow enough light inside until the day comes to remove the plants.
Some larger plants are also included in the set. According to the instructions, you can unpack these immediately and use them for decorating, as they are not part of the calendar.
Fully assembled, the small village requires an area of around 100 × 60 × 65 centimetres. Feey promises that you don't need to have any gardening experience: all plants should be easy to care for and clear instructions tell you how best to look after each plant.
The outer packaging and materials for the Christmas village are made from cardboard that is suitable for recycling.
I'll soon tell you in my product test whether it's all so easy to assemble and what's really inside the calendar (spoiler alert).
