Hello, Did you know? I have a **Garmin Epix Gen 2** whose button broke shortly after the warranty expired. This button issue has been reported by many users on numerous occasions on forums, including the official Garmin forum. After contacting support, I was informed that the watch **was not repairable** and that no repairs were offered. As a solution, Garmin offered me a **25% discount on the official Garmin price**, which in my case, was still **more expensive than the prices offered by retailers like Digitec**. Another proposal concerned a refurbished watch at a price that also seemed uncompetitive compared to the market. I understand that an out-of-warranty watch will not be replaced for free. However, I find it regrettable that a watch sold for nearly **1,000 CHF** cannot be repaired and that the exchange program is not actually more advantageous than market prices. This is my personal experience, and it makes me think twice before investing in another high-end Garmin watch. Have a nice day.

I've been trying to install the update for 5 days, once no connection to the server, another time an error during the update goes and doesn't go. I never had these difficulties with the TomTom. Probably have to change again

I am looking for a "watch" for my wrist that offers me the service of a compass and the current altitude (metres above sea level). But I'm not prepared to spend CHF 500 or more for these two functions. Because I don't need all the other 100 functions. I have looked at the Forerunner® 245, for example. But I can't answer conclusively whether it can do that. Does anyone really know which watch can do this? Looking forward to answers from the pros :-)

If you search for "Garmin" and filter by newest, the Garmin GPS 60 appears with the label NEW. I have owned the device for at least 7 years!!! Digitec is not only impressive with its webshop but also with the correct product details up to now ... will this now be spoiled by the third party suppliers? (Garmin GPS60 is offered by Campz.ch). I would also be interested in how a warranty case is handled (if an item is offered and purchased via a third-party supplier).
