Garmin watches are not repairable and Garmin offers no compensation
Hello, Did you know? I have a **Garmin Epix Gen 2** whose button broke shortly after the warranty expired. This button issue has been reported by many users on numerous occasions on forums, including the official Garmin forum. After contacting support, I was informed that the watch **was not repairable** and that no repairs were offered. As a solution, Garmin offered me a **25% discount on the official Garmin price**, which in my case, was still **more expensive than the prices offered by retailers like Digitec**. Another proposal concerned a refurbished watch at a price that also seemed uncompetitive compared to the market. I understand that an out-of-warranty watch will not be replaced for free. However, I find it regrettable that a watch sold for nearly **1,000 CHF** cannot be repaired and that the exchange program is not actually more advantageous than market prices. This is my personal experience, and it makes me think twice before investing in another high-end Garmin watch. Have a nice day.
