11 mobile induction hobs tested
Should it be a dish of meat, fish, vegetables or a delicacy made from soya & co. this time? It makes sense to use a modern induction hob, especially if you want to cook in a quick, simple and above all economical way. The reason is the technology available here: after all, it can effectively convert a large proportion of the electricity into heat - and at such an impressive speed that you would be forgiven for thinking you were using gas instead. What's more, you can use the touch panel to set how much electricity should go into the induction coils, so that the temperatures can be adjusted very precisely - this is particularly valuable if you want to serve more sophisticated dishes that require a stable temperature during the cooking process. But what should you do if you are cooking away from home but still want to enjoy all these benefits - for example while camping? Then buying a mobile alternative that is easy to use in terms of size and weight can be a good idea: We're talking about mobile induction hobs, which can be used wherever a suitable power connection is accessible. This time we were able to take a look at 11 different models: In the following, we will illustrate how many different temperature levels can be realised with them, how they behave in terms of sound emission and power consumption during cooking and what the overall user experience is like.
