Non-alcoholic beer tested

From sweet to tart, from full-bodied to lean - the 20 non-alcoholic pilsners, lagers and pale ales tested by Stiftung Warentest taste very different. Many beers are convincing, but some have musty and slightly cheesy notes that detract from the enjoyment. Good for the waistline: If you want to save calories, non-alcoholic beer is the right choice. On average, it has just over half as many calories as the alcoholic classic. You can also save money with our test results: The prices per litre range from 84 cents to 3.25 euros - but there are also two inexpensive beers among the good ones.
