Powerstations tested - sockets for on the move

Mobile work in the van, barbecue parties far from power sockets, extended photo safaris: when digital cameras, drones and laptops run out of juice or fairy lights and mobile routers need to be supplied with power, power stations come to the rescue. In addition to USB ports, the mobile power storage units have a 12-volt car socket (originally mostly used for a cigarette lighter) and at least one standard household Schuko socket. Stiftung Warentest tested eleven power stations with an output of 300 to 700 watts. They cost from 470 euros to more than 800 euros. The comparison is worthwhile: not all devices deliver the promised power, some take a long time to charge and some are unpleasantly loud in operation. With our test results, you can find a powerful and quiet power outlet for on the go.
