For years, animal rights activists have accused the down industry of plucking geese alive. Now suppliers had the chance to refute the accusations - and didn't use it. That is the sad conclusion of the big down test by Stiftung Warentest. The test experts tested 14 duvets for their quality and also checked to what extent the suppliers adhere to the criteria for social and ecological corporate governance (CSR).
