ADAC Test 2020: Summer tyres 225/40 R 18

Ultra High Performance tyres are the name given to the 18-inch tyres tested for the first time by the ADAC. A few years ago, these large tyres were mainly used by tuners, but now they are almost a standard size for more powerful vehicle models. The former disadvantages of such UHP tyres - little wet grip and a lot of wear - are fortunately no longer shown by the test models with speed index Y (up to 300 km/h). But their users still have to accept certain limitations.
