COMPARISON TEST - 8 washing machines

With a modern washing machine, you can wash just about any textile to make it sparkling clean again. Nowadays, however, machines are supposed to do much more than just remove stains: they are supposed to preserve the original colours in all their glory, care for the delicate fibres and, with special steam programmes, also make subsequent smoothing easier. In addition, the environmental balance of a washing machine is becoming more and more important: therefore, electricity and water consumption should ideally be very low, without sacrificing washing or spinning performance. ETM TESTMAGAZIN tested eight current washing machines with a maximum load of 8.0 kg; they all belong to the best energy efficiency class (A+++).
