Winter tyres: Only 5 out of 35 safe in snow and wet conditions

Winter tyres are not only intended to ensure safe driving in ice and snow: wet conditions are much more common. But far fewer models can cope with this. Only every seventh test model is convincing in all weather conditions. In the test: 35 winter tyres (prices: 33 - 85 euros per tyre), of which 16 were of size 165/70 R14 T and 19 of size 205/55 R16 H. A total of five models scored well.
