The Fanes Powertex 2-in-1 jacket is a stylish, thoughtfully designed jacket that can be worn alone as a waterproof, breathable outer jacket, as a thermoregulating inner jacket, or in combination as a protective, insulating jacket in autumn and winter.
The outer material is made from two-layer Powertex fabric, which has a high waterproof rating of 20,000 millimeters. The water column measures the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Additionally, the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR treatment that protects against dirt and contributes to breathability. Other features include a water-repellent two-way front zipper and an adjustable hood.
The removable inner jacket, which can also be worn on its own, features our 80-gram lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation, sourced from Tyrolean mountain sheep. Tradition meets innovation – the Fanes Sarner Down Hybrid features a multifunctional body mapping design: for the body, we used fluffy white duck down (90/10) with a fill power of 750 cuin, while the sleeves are made from 100% recycled wool in a Sarner construction. The down filling is complemented by an extra lightweight, durable material. This is a long-lasting product that keeps you warm and gives you peace of mind. For the RDS down, we ensure at every stage of the supply chain that the ducks from which it comes are not subjected to force-feeding or live plucking. The Sarner left-knit is a traditional South Tyrolean wool processing technique. The result is a dense wool fabric that is exceptionally warm and better withstands wind and rain. For the sleeves of this jacket, we used a blend of recycled wool and synthetic yarns, resulting in a particularly soft Sarner knit with hydrophobic properties.
