The original Edelweiss children's shirts are long-sleeved, collarless, and fully buttoned up to size 92. Sizes 98 to 164 feature a traditional half-buttoned design. They are generously cut.
The shirts are made from the original Edelweiss fabric, which is very robust and also suitable as a wrestling shirt for young wrestlers.
2. Jenni Hemden Kontrasthemd Uni- weiss
Fabric 100% cotton, approx. 133 g/m2 Washable up to 60°C The fabric is double-dyed (yarn and piece dyeing) and therefore extremely wash-resistant. Slightly elastic. Thanks to a special mechanical process (chemical-free), natural stretchability is achieved. These shirts are produced in small batches; delivery time may take about 3 to 6 weeks. The Edelweiss contrast shirts feature a modern cut, long sleeves, a collar, a full button placket, and a chest pocket, with a tailored "Modern Fit" cut. Men with a belly should order one size larger (see our size guide). Contrasting fabric on the inside of the collar, button placket, and sleeves. Combination: Solid black with elegant granite. New: Elegant lightweight in azure blue, dark green, and plum. Available from summer 2023. Short-sleeved elegant shirt with collar. Lightweight Edelweiss shirts made from our lightweight Edelweiss fabric. 100% cotton, Scherli pattern, machine washable at 40°C (please refer to our care instructions).
The fabric is made from 100% lightweight cotton. The light weaving technique and the absence of synthetic fibers create a summer fabric with fantastic wearing properties. Natural fibers like cotton are absorbent, have a balancing effect, and are low in odor. "Scherli" refers to a complex type of patterning. A pattern (e.g., Edelweiss) is woven into a base fabric using additional weft threads. These connecting threads lie loosely on the back of the fabric and are cut off after weaving. Previously done by hand with scissors, now done by machine. Hence the name "Scherli." This allows for the creation of a lightweight yet durable Edelweiss fabric made from 100% cotton.
