In 1979, our customers in our store at the Ballenberg East entrance repeatedly asked for "Edelweiss shirts." At first, we didn't really know what that was! So we set out to find out, but we couldn't find a supplier anywhere. Eventually, we found a weaving mill, bought fabric, and hired a seamstress.
