Mother-of-pearl is the inner layer of oysters and other mollusks. It consists of hardened layers of mother-of-pearl that oysters produce as a defense mechanism against foreign intruders. Perhaps that is why it is often associated with protection and luck.

This classic signet ring for men features a shimmering, oval mother-of-pearl set in polished stainless steel. On each side of the mother-of-pearl, arches inspired by classical Greek and Roman architecture stand out against the black surface.

Since mother-of-pearl is a natural material, each ring may exhibit variations in color and pattern.
