Mother of pearl is the inner layer of oysters and other mollusks. It consists of hardened layers of nacre that oysters produce as a defense mechanism against foreign intruders. Perhaps that is why it is often associated with protection and luck.

This classic signet ring for men features a shimmering, oval mother of pearl set in polished stainless steel. On each side of the mother of pearl, arches inspired by classical Greek and Roman architecture stand out against the black surface.

Since mother of pearl is a natural material, each ring may exhibit variations in color and pattern.
