Veja V-10

The Veja brand is the absolute pioneer on the global market for sustainably and fairly produced trainers. For example, they only use Fairtrade rubber for the soles and fairly traded organic cotton for the inner lining when manufacturing their shoes. If there are any parts of the shoes that are made from plastic, this plastic is obtained from recycled plastic bottles. The shoes are then sewn in a modern factory in Brazil. Veja's V-10 was launched to mark the brand's tenth anniversary and has since become the brand's absolute flagship. Despite having its own clear line, you can still recognise the cool retro silhouette, which is reminiscent of famous sneakers from the past. B-Mesh is made from 100% recycled polyester, which is obtained from recycled plastic bottles that are shredded into flakes in a Brazilian factory and then processed into fibres. Three plastic bottles are needed to make one pair of Veja shoes. B-Mesh is a lightweight, breathable and water-repellent fabric.
