The outer material features a matte recycled polyester in ripstop construction, giving the hardshell a city-friendly look. In terms of technical features, the Vaude rain jacket also shines with a hem drawcord, adjustable cuffs, and underarm ventilation. Two side pockets and a Napoleon pocket securely store small items and valuables. The zippered inner pocket of the Elope Jacket II also serves as a packing bag for the jacket.
