The novel filling of the Batura Hooded Insulation Jacket is a quantum leap in insulation technology: the puffy filling material has the same properties of down - light and highly heat retentive - but is created entirely from recycled material. This synthetic down has the advantage of being warm even when wet and is relatively easy to care for. These insulating flakes have been sewn into chambers, as is also common with down, to achieve the best thermal results. The jacket can be packed small in the elastic mesh inner pocket and thus does not fall in the backpack during the ascent in the weight.
