To earn the Checkerboard Globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made from one or a combination of recycled, renewable, and/or regenerative materials.

Product features:
Upper: Made from leather and 100% recycled PET textiles. Vans supports responsible leather manufacturing through the Leather Working Group.
Midsole: The new midsole is made from at least 50% bio-based EVA foam, partially derived from plant sources in accordance with testing standard ASTM D6866-16.
Outsole: All rubber used to make this outsole (60% of the blend) is regeneratively grown natural rubber from farms that employ practices that promote biodiversity, optimize the water cycle, improve soil health, and/or sequester carbon. This natural rubber blend has been designed and constructed to maintain the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since 1966.
