Product details
As a beloved part of the Vans family and a skate legend, Jeff Grosso's influence on skateboarding is unmatched. Anyone who had the chance to speak with him felt his genuine love for the sport. He supported the community—especially the upcoming generations—believing that skateboarding belongs to the kids. Jeff gave everything for skateboarding and the community.
He gained recognition in the competitive scene during the 1980s and quickly became one of the most recognizable faces in skateboarding. With the rise of skate videos showcasing his skills, sarcasm, and daring spirit, he entertained us all with a touch of self-deprecating humor and his untamed spirit. Through his influence on the sport, Jeff became the unofficial skateboarding historian. For ten years, he contributed his unique, authentic commentary on the industry to create the "Vans Love Letters to Skateboarding," which will serve as an encyclopedia of the skateboarding world for years to come.
To honor Jeff's legacy and help future skaters understand his significant role in shaping the history of skateboarding, Vans presents a Grosso Forever special collection. All net proceeds will go to Jeff's son Oliver and his family.
The special collection features artwork by Jeff's longtime friend John Lucero. The Grosso Forever T-shirt showcases one of Jeff's favorite photos of himself skating: "Sadder than a Funeral" by Bryce Knight from the November 1985 issue of Thrasher Magazine.
The short-sleeve T-shirt is made from 100% cotton and also features a unique "Grosso Forever" print on the inside. Fit: classic.
"It's you, your skateboard, and the world. So go out and make it your own."
