Barefoot Mid Elastic Vatex - our cool barefoot elastic shoe. Our Barefoot Mid is an ultra-lightweight, flexible barefoot shoe that handles all tasks with ease. The specially designed barefoot last provides more toe freedom for your true barefoot feeling from VADO. The shoes are made from breathable rip-stop mesh textile upper material, and the toe area as well as high-wear areas are reinforced with a durable TPU coating. The uncomplicated elastic Velcro closure is ideal for quick on and off and offers a variable fit. Reflectors on the heel and sides ensure better visibility in twilight, enhancing safety. The VA-TEX membrane makes the shoe additionally waterproof and breathable, keeping your feet dry at all times. The shoe features an ultra-thin, flexible, and lightweight rubber outsole that provides better grip, and the VADO X Flex Zone in the front area of the sole has been shown to support healthy gait development. All VADO shoes come with a removable insole that can be washed at 30°C in the washing machine. Additionally, each of our shoes features the characteristic VADO midsole, which can also be removed if space is needed for orthopedic insoles or if the feet have grown, extending the wear time.
